Most betting and gambling forms, like charitable games and raffle prizes, are regulated in this state but these laws are amongst the strictest around in the U.S. Since then, government officials haven't spoken about this issue and there is a lot of doubt if it will ever happen. The regulation almost happened in 2013 but it was rejected again. While almost every form of poker is regulated in Oklahoma, online poker isn't. In notable land-based casinos like Choctaw Casino Resort, Winstar World Casino and Resort, and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino you can play live poker. Some of those full-fledged casinos are under a tribal-state compact. In Oklahoma, there are more casinos than almost any other state.
There is currently no legislation permitting online poker in the state.
